Download and extract the Skill ZIP. Put the included politechase folder in ~/.agents/skills/politechase, keeping the script and reference files together.

With Python 3.10+ installed, run this in your terminal:

Create a key in Settings and enter it when prompted. Ask your AI to run the bundled client’s usage command to verify access. Refresh your AI’s skills list or start a new local session if it has not discovered the Skill.

Requires a Skill-compatible agent with local files, Python 3.10+ and network access. These are local-agent instructions; availability in cloud sessions and other chat apps depends on that app.

A few things to know

Can I use this in ChatGPT, Claude.ai or Gemini web?

The installation prompts above are for local agents that can read Skill files and run the bundled Python client. Other apps have different Skill, network and credential capabilities. This preview does not provide a hosted MCP connector. If your chat app cannot run the client, use the PoliteChase workspace instead.

Will my AI send the payment reminder?

No. This Skill returns a draft, an explanation and things to verify. You choose what to send and use your usual channel. Gmail access is not needed for the Skill.

Where do I put my API key?

Create it in PoliteChase Settings. The bundled client’s configure command asks for it in a hidden terminal prompt and saves it privately on your computer. Keep it out of chat, install prompts and project files. You can revoke it in Settings.

What should I do if setup does not finish?

Check Python 3.10+, the installation directory and network access. Make sure the key and base URL belong to the same PoliteChase site. Ask your AI to run usage again; it is free. If the key is expired or revoked, create a new one in Settings.
